After a few years of hosting our event in major cities across our great nation, the Ethnic Business Awards returned home to Sydney.
The 29th Annual Ethnic Business Awards were held in the Wentworth Ballroom of the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney on 28th October 2017.
Guests that attended the Awards again included representatives from Prime Ministers, Governor Generals, Leaders of the Opposition, Federal and Shadow Ministers, Local and International Dignitaries, Ambassadors and Diplomatic Representatives, Members of Diplomatic Missions, Sponsors, Community and Business Leaders and English and Non English Media.
Guests of the Awards included The Honourable Senator Concetta Fierravanti Wells MP, representing the Prime Minister, The Hon. Jason Clare MP Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment, Shadow Minister for Resources and Northern Australia representing the Leader of the Opposition, along with the Minister Assisting the Treasurer, The Hon. Michael Sukkar MP, His Excellency Mr Manuel Innocencio De Lacerda Santos Junior, Ambassador Extraordinary for Brazil, The Hon. John George Ajaka, MLC President of the Legislative Council of NSW, Mr Minh Son Hoang – Consul General for The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr Paulo Miguel Guedes Domingues – Consul General for Portugal, Mr Carlos Henrique Moojen De Abreu E Silva – Consul General for Brazil and The Hon. Philip Ruddock a strong supporter of the Awards for many years, along with the many other dignitaries from both Federal and State governments, and luminaries from all fields of business, media, and the community.
We also extended a warm welcome to international sponsor and guest, Mr Sui Long Liu from Global Capital Diversity.
2017 saw new sponsors joining the EBA family.
