The 22nd Annual Ethnic Business Awards was held on 7 November 2010 at the Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth. It was the first time the Awards were held in Western Australia. And for the first time, there was a new Award Category called 'Indigenous in Business'. The event was hosted by renowned media personality Tracey Spicer.

The Premier of Western Australia, the Honourable Colin Barnett was the guest of honour.  He thanked all migrants to Australia as "they have made a positive difference to both the nation and the economy". He also welcomed the awards to Western Australia and the new category which "recognises the achievements of Indigenous people in the commercial arena".

The Gala Event had over 350 guests present from both Government and Opposition, Federal and States, the public and private sectors, the media and corporate sectors, community leaders, industry officials and Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Australia from the finalists countries of origin.
